| WHO! Another class was offered for the K-3rd grade group called Art Alive! Each of the 8 classes had a theme based on the books by Colleen Carroll called How Artists See.....Animals, Cities, Play, Feelings, Weather, etc. The children received prints of the art that they looked at and discussed. Kim asked them fun and probing questions about the pictures. Nothing heavy or dull and the kids were the main participants. The second half of the class they did an art project related to what they looked at that day. The classes were held in March, April & May of 2009. |
